I am a Co-Investigator for KNOW leading the work package designed to take the learnings from the other Work Packages and integrate them into UK-based Overseas Development Aid (ODA) organisational research capacity. Overall our aim is to enhance UK-based ODA organisational capacity on addressing urban equality in the global South.

I am also a staff member at the DPU and I lead the PhD programme. With a background in urban planning, geography, and community organising, I have a long-standing interest in theorising and implementing programmes that promote equality.

Outside the DPU, I am currently involved in a research project investigating how land markets relate to spatial justice in cities in Uganda and Somaliland.
