Multiplying Translocal Learning in Higher Education | The Bartlett Development Planning Unit, UCL
I am the Co-Lead for Work Package 5 focused on Multiplying Translocal Learning in Higher Education within KNOW. I am leading this Work Package together with Aromar Revi at the Indian Institute of Human Settlements (IIHS). In this role, I will support translocal learning and enhance established capacities in the DPU.
I am actively engaged in various initiatives promoting translocal learning and enhance research capacity at UCL and internationally.
Since the 1990s, I have played a leading role in shaping the sustainable development agenda in education at UCL, particularly bringing an urban and environmental justice dimension to it.
I have over 30 years of international experience in research, postgraduate teaching, and consultancy in over 20 countries in Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Middle East. I currently lead the UCL Grand Challenge on Sustainable Cities and the DPU Research Cluster on Environmental Justice, Urbanisation and Resilience.
