Back to team

I am part of the KNOW city team working in Lima where we will be linking urban resilience and prosperity through the exploration of spatial interventions. These will provide solutions to the structural drivers of risks experienced in the Peruvian capital, as part of Work Package 1.

I studied architecture at the Universidad Ricardo Palma, in Lima, and received my PhD in Architectural Theory at the Catholic University of Louvain, Belgium. I am a tenured Professor at the School of Architecture in the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, where I have sat as the department Chair since 2014. From 2011 to 2017 I was the Principal Investigator of the Transversal research project and currently I head up the Peruvian Architecture Archive at PUCP.

I have edited and published numerous journal articles, recently, 'Transversal: Acciones de Integración en el Territorio Peruano' (2017), alongside which I run a critical architectural practice and curate art and architectural exhibitions.
